The Fiio FH7S in-ear headphones are semi-open hybrids with five drivers per ear, including a dynamic DLC model to ensure powerful yet accurate bass. These Fiio FH7S earphones are adaptable to any requirement with three removable crossovers to customize the sound signature. They are easy to pair with any headphone amp or audiophile player thanks to their detachable cable with a 3.5mm mini-jack connector and 4.4mm balanced jack adapter.
Fiio FH7S: semi-open design
The Fiio FH7S in-ear headphones adopt a semi-open design to expand the soundstage and ensure better music spacing. To achieve this, each metal shell of the Fiio FH7S earphones adopts a series of perforated, overlapping plates on the back to allow the drivers to breathe. An air guide ensures better air evacuation to make the most of these openings. In addition to greater musicality, the semi-open design of the Fiio FH7S earphones also helps limit the pressure imposed on the eardrums. Users can enjoy longer listening sessions without experiencing any hearing fatigue.
The Fiio FH7S in-ear earphones have no less than 5 drivers per earpiece. The reproduction of the low register is taken care of by a dynamic transducer of 13,6 mm with membrane DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) in ultra rigid carbon. This model, identical to the one that equips the high-end FiiO FH9, has a large diameter of 13.6 mm to maximize air displacement. Its membrane offers an excellent damping and manages ideally to reconcile rigidity and lightness. This design ensures better transient reproduction for powerful, natural and deep bass down to 10 Hz.
The DLC driver in the Fiio FH7S combines with four Knowles balanced armature drivers for highs and mids. High frequencies are reproduced by Knowles SWFK-31736 BA drivers to ensure transparent, detailed and natural reproduction. For the design of the midrange drivers, FiiO and Knowles worked together to develop and integrate balanced armature drivers capable of reproducing this register with the highest precision. They are thus able to deliver a rich and harmonious midrange for a coherent sound stage.
