The Atoll DR100 Signature digital transport is a CD player without a converter to optimize and preserve the entire digital signal. It therefore requires an external DAC or ampli-DAC to decode the signal.

Entirely designed and assembled in France to strict audiophile standards, the Atoll CD100 Signature CD player features a pure-audio player mechanism specifically developed to effectively reduce jitter. This playback mechanism benefits from a design and materials optimized to reduce parasitic vibrations. This protection is further enhanced by the use of a sturdy aluminum chassis supported by shock-absorbing rubber feet.

The power supply is a crucial element in ensuring optimum playback stability. The signal is then routed to the two digital outputs (one optical and one coaxial).
